    There is a TSB for the hard downshift. It is TSB 082207. This will cure it. Mine was so bad it was like a sledge hammer being slammed against the frame at every stop.     Figure out how to make it 'scrape' consistently. Then take the service rep on a test drive. It's not normal. There is a TSB for a sqawk noise on hard accleration at around 30mph, but it sounds like a belt slipping, not scrapping. Could be related though. Here is the info for that.
