2004 Ford Expedition SUV XLT Sport Rwd 4dr SUV (4.6L 8cyl 4A)

Review

The interior has a lot of room. Even
with the large console in the middle I
have a lot of hip room. The leg room is
awsome. The ride is ultra smooth. The
only negative if nay is the gas milage
is mid average, but with even the
smaller v8 I have plenty of power. The
cockpit is also very quiet, not a lot
of road noise. One of the best vehicles
by far I have ever owned.

Best Features

The delux seats are well worth the $.The premium stero is also a great buy. Nice sound quality.

2004 Ford Expedition SUV XLT Sport Rwd 4dr SUV (4.6L 8cyl 4A)

Review

I receive more favorable comments on
this vehicle (XLT Sport, black w/grey
trim) than any I've owned. Handles
great, third-row seat is much more
comfortable and functional than
previous Expedition models, interior
styling is much improved. Overall, very
pleased with my new ride.

Best Features

In-dash CD changer, the third-row fold down seats are great improvement over removable bench from previous models. Slide step bars, standard on the XLT Sport, are MUCH more functional than the running boards on other models... just ask my 66 year-old mom and 70 year- old dad.

Worst Features

Stereo is fair, MP3 decoder for CD changer would be great addition and is extremely cheap technology (as you see it in $29 DVD Players.) Add DC outlet inside the console. Deletion of overhead garage door opener compartment was a poor decision (used this feature in 2 previous SUVs).

Review

We bought the new Expidition after
getting sick of our Hummer. Although
it isn't as fast it gets twice the
gass mileage and rides nearly the
same. We got a totally base Expition
for $25,000. Less than half of our
hummer. The Hummer isn't worht the
money and the expition is just a basic
navigator, it rides just as well.

Best Features

We love the fold flat seats and the other little details like A/C, it's strong and blows ice cold.

Worst Features

Next year we probably won't see as many problems since this is the new body os the expidition and they're still improving. Our gear box had a little problem, but the transmission blew in our hummer!
