2003 Ford Expedition SUV XLT Value Rwd 4dr SUV (4.6L 8cyl 4A)

Review

My vehicle must have been put together in the middle of the week. It is quiet and have had no problems at all so far!

Best Features

4.6 Triton has good power for its size and mileage was average 18 mpg.

Worst Features

Front rotor dust needs to be less than it is. The 5.4 Triton needs to be standard for this truck to get around 285-300 hp.

Review

I love my Expedition/ I thought it may be difficult to get used to driving a large car but it drives and handles excellent. I have an infant and it is great for hauling all of his stuff around. We also recently went on a long trip and it was great; lots of room and the gas mileage was much better than expected. We have carried everything from people to lumber in this thing and have never been disappointed.

Best Features

Cargo room.

Worst Features

Interior is not the greatest but seems to be long lasting.

Review

Despite my resolve to never buy a big SUV due to MPG issues, my wife talked me into this one. In fairness, it is a nice truck, good to look at, fun to drive, comfortable and seats 8. Had a van, but she tired of it after almost 10 years. MPG is about 14 city, 17 highway (with no lead foot). Throws a lot of brake dust, especially in front. Good on long trips. Bought with 33K miles & put more than 10K on it so far with no cost to repair other than rotors on the rear. Fronts had been replaced before I bought. Seems early for rotors. Truck gives feeling of power and sits high enough to see everything. If you don't care about mpg, get this or the Eddie Bauer.

Best Features

Running boards, truck "feel". Like that, though big & comfortable, it'll go wherever you need it to.

Worst Features

MPG, better brake design (less dust, longer lasting rotors)

Review

This car has met all my expectations. Plenty of room and creature comforts for a large family. Great performance when pulling a 7,000 lb. trailer, handles it with no problems. Only downside is poor gas mileage in city driving conditions, better than expected when on highway (18 MPG). I would definitely purchase this vehicle again.

Best Features

Adjustable pedals, fold flat rear seats, latch system for child seats, and the ability to pull forward rear middle seat for better access to child/baby seat in this position.

Worst Features

Exterior body panels need to be improved.

Review

This SUV can do all the things a large pick-up can do but still has a soft car ride, not to mention the air suspention and the indepedepedet rear suspention. It also has about twice the size of leg room in each seat, compared to yukon or the Toyota seqoia. It also has a styleish design inside of the car and out side of the SUV.HEated mirrors and good derability it is the best truck/ SUV ever, had a seqoia and yukon last year and didnt like it at all, this can beet , any other car out there.Plus to many small luxurious things to list.

Best Features

EVERYTHING IN IT!!!!!!!!

Worst Features

NONE AT ALL
