1991 Ford Escort GT need some advice
My brother n law owns a 1991 ford escort 1.8L GT and we are having a problem fixing it. Recently it had been running with very little power (i.e when going up hill it lost power and slowed the car down drastically). I have a 5 spd 91 escort wagon...and i have had this problem eversince I got it...just never got around to solving it. Only half the dashboard lights up. The left side...so if i am driving in the dark, I can't see half of the speedometer. Any ideas how to solve it? Read More...

I didn't like the 'passive' rear wheel steering that was built into the rear suspension of the 1991-1996? generation of Escorts. The rear end would step out at different times, and this is not a great thing in a front wheel drive car. Maybe I just wasn't used to it (and I had owned high powered rear wheel drive vehicles - 5.0 Mustang, etc.), but this led to me wrecking ... Read More...
