2013 Ford Escape Titanium 4dr SUV (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A)
I purchased this car in March 2013.
The gas mileage I have gotten is 15 mpg city and 19 mpg highway.
This has been verified with the dealership.
They can find nothing wrong with the car and Ford advises this is within the normal range.
If you are looking for a car that is economical, this is not the car for you.
15/19 is a far cry from 22/31 that Edmunds is listing on the vehicle spec page. Yours is only the 2nd comment I've read so far so I hope there is some logical explanation for this because right now I'm stunned.
A quick look at feileconomy.gov shows roughly 22/31 and 25 combined, and one is as high as 23/33 and 26 combined. And since the price of a gallon of gas since January 2009 has been double what it was for the preceding 4 years, that fact alone is almost a deal breaker. Wow.
