2005 Ford Escape SUV XLT Fwd 4dr SUV (2.3L 4cyl 4A)

Review

I love my Escape. I get better milage than sticker promised. I love driving it. I am in it much of the day and find it comfortable.

Best Features

I have all the features I wanted and great mileage, too.

Worst Features

The fabric used for the seats is a magnet for lint and hair. Since I have long hair, and transport my dogs a lot, I am constantly brushing the seats.

2005 Ford Escape SUV XLT Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Ford scores high in my books for having produced a really driveable small SUV that isn't guzzling gas but performs above expectations. I haven't had a moments regret. Everything about my Ford Escape is fun - plenty of power, enough room, sweet design, easy handling, great road holding. I'm a happy camper, so to speak.

2005 Ford Escape SUV XLT AWD 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I am impressed so far. My only grip is the fuel economy. Otherwise a very nice SUV.

Best Features

Standard features are all nice. I like the power drivers seat and the general layout of the dash.

Worst Features

Better fuel economy and more torque would be nice.

2005 Ford Escape SUV Limited AWD 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Ride feels very comfortable. Interior feels larger than exterior dimensions of the vehicle would indicate. Steering is very responsive. Ergonomically, things are designed very well. Exterior is nicely designed as well. Dashboard and instrument panel is clean, intuitively easy to use, without being too cluttered. Very nice sound system.

Best Features

Exterior design and appearance. Interior comfort and spaciousness. Sound system.

Worst Features

Passenger side front seat should be equipped with power seat. Grab handles should be available for rear seat occupants. Locking gas cap, outside temperature indicator, 12v power outlet at rear of vehicle are all small things that would elevate this vehicle's status.

Review

This SUV is fun to drive, easy to park, and provides a very comfortable ride.

Best Features

I like the CD cassette, sun roof, and leather interior. The SUV is very peppy and have no problems merging with traffic.

Worst Features

I wish there were controls on the steering wheel for the radio and CD. Also, would like to see the name of song being played when CD is being played.
