I filed a small claims lawsuit against the Ford Mortor Company and go to court on Friday. I'm surprised that they haven't offered to settle since I'm only asking for $1,800 (from the estimate) to paint the hood and back panel of my 2003 Escape. Hi- Bought a 2003 Escape new in October 02. Have been very pleased except for 2 issues. At about 73,000 I had 3 cylinders which had the coils go bad. 2 weeks apart. Each plug has a coil, with a boot over them. The plugs are to be changed every 100,000 miles, but the boots failed, so the coils blew. $1200 later I replaced all the boots, the 3 bad coils and new plugs all the ... Read More...

my Escape is a 07 and I put in 2 cd's (4 were already in), then nothing would happen, wouldn't eject or play. Kept saying eject error. I tried the fuse thing, didn't work but maybe I didn't leave it out long enough. I then held the eject button and pounded on the dashboard. Next thing you know 3-6 were ejecting. I had to push the eject button and pound again and 1 and 2 popped ... Read More...

I figured out why my 2003 Ford Escape appears to be overheating, AFTER the engine is off. After I stop the engine after a long hot drive and then try to start it back up after fifteen or so minutes, the car won't idle. It will drive, but when RPM gets down to 1100 or so, the engine dies.
