2006 Ford Escape Hybrid 4dr SUV (2.3L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

Review

Walked into dealer with no thoughts of this kind of vehicle on my mind. Was attracted to body style with the new black paint. Then thought about the price of gas and I was sold! Hybrid engine works great and hardly gives notice that it's anything other than a regular internal combustion engine.

Favorite Features

Interior is a level above what one might expect from a small SUV. Very comfortable and user friendly, except for the placement of the 6 disc changer under the front passenger seat. Overall, I'm pleased as can be for getting a vehicle I had never considered.

Suggested Improvements

CD changer placement (under passenger seat), sun visor design and air conditioning is weak at best when car is standing still.
