I had a similar sound to what you are speaking of. I have a 2007 Edge SEL and after purchasing mine after about 2 to 3 weeks I started hearing squeaking noises. I didn't know if it was coming from the front or the back. It would make that sound after I would come to a stop, pull off, turn left or turn right. We live in Atlanta where temps approach 100 with high humidity and we've never had a problem with cooling in the Edge. We've never had to turn it down below 72. Braking on the 2007 models was a little long but that improved with the 08 models and Michelin tires. There is no brake problem on the 08 and later models. Read More...

You are not the only person that this has happened to. I am the owner of a 2007 Ford Edge with the vista roof. In May 2008, the sunroof glass randomly exploded over my head. Nothing hit the glass and there were not any other cars near me. I called Ford up immediately and reported the incident. Read More...

I am looking to replace those crappy Hancook stock tires on my 2007 Edge. From what I have found out I can put 235 R 65 in 17" or 18" to be in line with what they recomment. I want to put something like scorpions on there or hopefully something cheaper but with similiar looks without changing wheels right now. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks Read More...

my 2007 Ford Edge had the sunroof explode tonight. My wife was driving home and did not have our two daughters thankfully, but the sunroof exploded and was in shattered pieces. I like the Edge as I have always been a Ford guy and always put over 150k miles on all of my Fords with minimal problems. Edge and Freestyle has the same seating as a Freestyle with a 3.0 -6cyl. I say with my Freestyle I honestly average 28 to 29 MPG hwy at 60-65 mph and 23- 24 mpg country roads where I live. All the time. I am surprised Ford has not advertised this Crossover ... I am from near Ottawa (Canada), and I have the same problem too. I investigated, and the local Ford dealer told me there are 800+ cases in North America with 2007/08 Ford Edge rims. As well, I requested free replacement rims (covered under warranty).. but these are on massive back-order... they're talking 2-3 months before in-stock since there are so many cases ... Read More...

We just got our new Limited Creme AWD and love it. The 20" inch chrome wheels look pretty neat, even for an old geezer like me The seats are what sold me. The one we bought just happened to have the hitch option. I never really looked at the hitch until today. What in the world would you pull with a 1" receiver? I didn't know they made such a thing.
