2001 Ford Crown Victoria 4dr Sedan (4.6L 8cyl 4A)
Solid, stable, and reliable sums up my
experience with the Crown Victoria.
Performance is startlingly good and is
matched by predictable handling. On the
highway this car rules supreme - it's
free reving V8 gives a surge of
overtaking power when needed, and yet,
when driven gently provided quite
economical cruising. It's big enough
for all to see, and gives really good
all-round visibility. I love the car!
Sensible interior layout. Everything in
this car is where you expect it to be.
The controls are logicaly situated, and
sensibly supply the driver with safe
control of the car - you don't need to
reach around to hard to find places to
find a control feature.
Daylight running lights. It seems that,
today, it is harder than ever to get
other motorists to notice that you are
there. I run with the lights on, and
would like to have that as an automatic
option - the lights come on and off
automatically with the ignition.
