I've had mine for 5 years, my first car and I love it. It handles well, accelerates quickly and is spacious and comfy. I do routine maintenance and just enjoy it. Its truly a well built vehicle and is sturdy and reliable.

Review

When I first saw this car I passed it by, but after looking at a few other cars on the lot the dealer pointed it out to me, so I looked at it more closely; from that point on this car has grown on me.
The car is super reliable, gets good gas mileage on the highway, and rides very comfortably. A/C is awesome too! Replaced headliner, ball joint and upgraded OEM stereo. Also had all windows tinted except windshield. Great value car, I love it!

Best Features

A/C, info center, climate control

Worst Features

The stereo

Review

I bought this car 3 months ago for $1400 from an exchange student. The lack of maintenance from the previous owner caused the radiator to fail, the transmission to slip and the engine to overheat. Hit a curb at 50 mph going down a hill, no damage from either at all. Drove to the shop just fine. Cost $450 to do all of the neglected maintenance at one. No permanent damage. A true testament to it's durability.

The intake manifold needed replacement. Last owner took care of that. Even when in disrepair, it ran smoothly and beautifully. Steering is tricky and jittery but not too bad. Fuel efficiency is not fantastic but can be improved and is an even tradeoff for the safety and durability.

Best Features

Repairs cheaply and easily. Smooth and enjoyable drive, fun at high speeds. Still maintains great control at 100mph and over. Great for long drives, good highway mileage. Cruise control on, sit back and relax. My friends love it, it's nice and roomy. TONS of storage space. Smooth, quick, great horsepower and torque for it's size. 0-60 mph in 8.5 seconds. Super charge it, and you have a luxury sportscar. Very durable. Very reliable. Mine's been through hades and back and still running strong!

Worst Features

Most of the maintenance it required was either from previous owner neglect or just the cosmetic problems that go with owning a 12 year old car. Headliner, heating core, intake manifold... that's about it. It's a great vehicle, and any improvements to make have been made in later models.

Review

Its a solid, dependable and comfortable car. Bought it from my aunt and have had no problems. Surprisingly good fuel economy, I easily average between 22-25 mpg driving with a bit of a heavy foot. Power is good as well, has no problem passing and gets up to speed quickly. Transmission shifts smoothly and down the highway the car is quiet aside from some minor wind noise from the back driver's side window. Has an absoluely huge drunk and lots of interior space. A very easy car to drive but one that you can have a bit of fun with too.

Best Features

V8 responsiveness with V6 fuel economy, interior and trunk space, reliability and comfort.

Worst Features

When using the cupholders, it blocks the controls for the heat/ air conditioniong. The seats could use a bit more lower back support.

Review

Note the amount of miles I drive: in any other car, this much seat time would be intolerable. I've owned several Crown Vics: they're comfortable, reliable, and safer than anything else in the full-size class (ask me about the time I was rear-ended at extremely high speed during a blizzard). You can drive them like an old man if you wish, or you can put your foot down and fling them around with abandon. I've brought 3 very large friends along on road trips, and none of them had a single complaint about the car.

Best Features

Ride quality is extremely smooth and quiet. 4.6 L performance. The reactions of other drivers when they see me looming in their rear-view.

Worst Features

Bit late to suggest anything as FoMoCo has killed off the CV line (fools! you FOOLS!). A diesel or gas-hybrid version would have eliminated the only quibble, that being the relatively low fuel economy.
