This is about as close as any american
car company has gotten to german
engineering quality and performance.
The stock shifter is alot like an 80's
honda, but it flies with a short throw
replacment. This car is definately a
collector, and I would suggest
purchasing one to anyone that has the
opportunity. There are not many of
these cars out there, so get them if
you can. The only downfall is the lack
of a healthy aftermarket. It seems
that ford built the SVT Conour and then
forgot about it. But many parts for
the Cougar are interchangable.
The all blue interior is not too great
with the black exterior.
