YOUR DOING IT WRONG!
By meabn on
2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid SE 4dr Wagon (2.0L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
Please. The only thing wrong with this car is Microsoft sync. I take no pleasure in saying this but I am afraid that some of you are way better at giving opinions than the measures of central tendencies. Google it. This vehicle is an epic leap forward for Ford (less sync) and sips gas. Post break in it will blast by 47 MPG. Again, learn what "average" means and how to apply the term over time- if you dare. Unfortunately, most are confusing (or don't understand) mean, median, and mode versus vehicle life time average MPG during driver learning curve and vehicle break in. Kinda Fords fault as well I guess.
The kick under the bumper auto lift gate thing is really cool. Ford also did a great job with the interior head room and overall interior comfort. When in EV mode the car is super quiet and it is nice and takes some time to get used to.
Microsoft sync is so 1999. Total garbage. If you have an iPhone and know who Siri is you will absolutely hate sync. After getting used to Siri, talking to sync to get something done is like asking a 6 year old to re shingle the roof Saturday morning while sponge bob is on. I understand that microsoft doesn't wanna play with the Apply iPhone but come on, Apple only outsold Microsoft by like a billion handsets. A lot of functions simply don't work like text to speech and such. Lame.
Cost the interior design two stars.
Just read an article: Ford is dropping Sync on all their lines and going with Blackberry. Not sure if that's an improvement because I know nothing about phones but Windows is such a pain and disappointment anything would be an improvement. Hope Ford can sue them and get some of their money back.
But you DO take pleasure in your post or you would not be posting.
Also, your post will be more credible if you use the correct form of "your" which in this case is "YOU'RE".
It is the contraction of you and are.
You know what you're talking about and I look forward to warmer weather and reading follow-up posts.
It's been my pleasure.
