Cmax tricks prius owner

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid SEL 4dr Wagon (2.0L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

Review

I haved owned 2 priuses and wanted to try something new and the 47/47 on the sticker was close to what I was getting on the prius. After buying am only getting 37 mpg. Would give the car pluses on design, is fun to drive and comfortable but the 47/47 is a lie..not happening and the prius never failed to get near that. Oh well..lesson learned.

I have almost 800 miles on it and never passed about 37 mpg. I agree... the "47/47" statement is a lie... The salesperson told me that this could be achieved after "5000 miles"... I truly doubt it...

Just bought my wife a C-Max, fuel economy on 1st tank of gas is 44 MPG. C-Max WILL get close to the EPA ratings if driven very, very conservatively; my theory is that most people can't resist a little hot-rodding (something you can't do in a Prius). Fuelly reports average mileage for multiple owners at 40 MPG.
