1994 Ford Bronco 2 Dr Eddie Bauer 4WD Utility
Review
We owned it for 2 months with no problems. Then we had to drive to Texas. On the 2nd day of our journe the fan was torqued off and hit the waterpump.(We were pulling a 88 Bronco 2). So we got the waterpump replaced. Then 40mi down the road it happened again, this time it broke the waterpump and the radiator. So we fixed all that and another 50 miles later the fuel pump and fuel filter went bad. So all and all between having to be towed and getting parts fixed it cost us about $1000. Also the back windshield stopped working fom the rear and the switch had to be relaced on the dash. You also can't roll the passenger window back up from the drivers side.

The Last of the REAL 4x4's

GREAT TRUCK! Recently took a trip to the great desert southwest and went on several desert trails over rocks and through the sand. Best place to test was Grand Staircase where the big Bronco handels a bit like a 2.5 ton solid axle go-kart. Great Fun! Interior very functional without all the soccer-mom baby-buggy BS the Expedition has (oh, did I mention it handels great off road too?), great power, great transfer case (BW 1356 Manual), great suspension.
Favorite Features
Seats are very comfy and supportive, interior nicely appointed and simple (although it'd be nice if the door panels were attached a little better). Ford, please start building REAL 4X4's again!! The Broncos are great and we want more!!
Suggested Improvements
Needs less overhang or a sturdier bumper in the rear, as stepp departurers result in a very solid "Thud" as the weight comes to rest on the bottom of the bumper.

I bought the Bronco just a few months ago, and so far have been very pleased. My previous Bronc was a '81, no power but also bullet proof. The '94 I now own had 63000 miles on it when I bought it. The power of the 351 is insane. There is always more power when you need it. Steering is typical Ford TTB, but a Rancho steering stabilizer helps. Dual Rancho RS 5000 up front and RS 9000 5 way adjust in the rear is great. The only problem is that the speed control suddenly stopped working. Fit and finish is good, with a little squeek and rattle here and there. None the less, the Bronco is very stable and built to last.
Favorite Features
Power from the 351, Rear defrost, More space than I know what to do with, Great view of the road, Great exterior styling, Build Ford tough.
Suggested Improvements
Hard to improve anything that is not made anymore, interior handles, tighter more responsive steering, and watch out for rust.

Sure Choice

Review
I bought my 1994 Bronco XLT in August 2002 as my first truck. Over the past seven months, i have been dully impressed with my Bronoco. It is undoubtedly the most sturdy, most reliable, and most fun to drive truck that i have ever been in. Although it only gets about 16-17 mpg, i would highly recommend a Bronoco for anyone in the market for a modestly priced reliable, safe, and extremely versatile truck. It drives very smoothly on the road and definitely has proven off-road capabilities. On one off-roading trip i pulled 4 Chevy trucks that got stuck out with virtually no effort. Go with the Bronco, it's a sure choice that will never fail.
Favorite Features
Everything.
Suggested Improvements
None. Should have made 33" tires and a flowmaster muffler standard. Other than that, nothing whatsoever.

Purchased used with 91000 miles on it and now have 108000. 351 is smooth, consistant and capable of hauling virtually anything. Trany is reliable but unremarkable. 4wd is crude but effective. Interior functional but comfortable. Easy vehicle to work on. Rust is forming in all the usual places and tailgate design is poor. Excel. turning radius, ride quality not bad. NO MECH. PROBLEMS, V.DEPENDABLE, NO RATTLES OR SQUEEKS. Looking to impress yourself not your neighbors, Looking to make friends with a "real truck" not a SUV, this rig is perfect. Strong and functional. Feels like an old good friend.
Favorite Features
Strong smooth engine, Rugged physique, Go anywhere, anytime, tow anything, capability. Removable roof. Very manuverable off road or in town. Versatile design. Easy to work on and parts are inexpensive and easy to obtain.
Suggested Improvements
Steering a bit vague, Rust shows up prematurely, crash handles above passenger and drivers doors would be nice. A bit more leg room up front. Interior appointments marginal, cut and paste design, cheap feeling.

Review
I have a 94 Bronco Eddie Bauer, and have not been dissapointed. 351W, with the E40D tranny has been a good combination with this truck too. I have 33" tires, and there is no noticeable power decrease due to the diameter change. Wide enough for a sheet of plywood, but short enough to pull a U-turn on most residential streets. The only beef I have with this machine is the overall braun of the parts. My old 85 Bronco was beaten twice as hard as the 94, yet the 94 seems to break more. For the money, especially comparing to new SUV's, a good used Bronco is the way to go. DO NOT BUY A K-5 BLAZER
Favorite Features
Engine. Will pull anything that you tell it too. Never ever had a problem with this engine. 130000 Mi. and counting.
Suggested Improvements
Strength of parts, mostly wheel bearings, suspension. Must wash under the wheel wells and tailgate, or rust will start. Chronic.
