my 94 viper rt10 is a true show car.everywhere i go people react like they cannot believe this car is on the road.I cant go anywhere with out some body yelling out or following me.taking pictures or cam corder . I love the attention the car brings.i have had many different sports cars this by far is the most attention grabber to date.
the sound the car makes is unlike anything you will ever hear.the styling is awesome even seventeen years later it is one of the most stylish cars on the road.
interior parts break easily.rubber on the door tears quickly no matter how hard you try not to touch it. the interior heats up and is very difficult to drive when idling in traffic.i have improved the cooling system as best as possible and it has made a big difference. forget about using the ac system.
If you want a heated steering wheel, seats, and such, buy a BMW or whatever. Mine has only 4k with intake, exhaust, and Paxton supercharging. I have four Corvettes of all years and my favorite to drive, by far, is the Viper. Top's down!
Looks, fun to drive.
Top and windows are a joke. Nice weather car only.
The car is awsome. Deffinately not for everyone. I was a Corvette guy until I got into Vipers. Not the same vehicle at all. This is a race car with head lights. The new Vipers are even more fun to drive. If you are a race car driver buy a 1st or 2nd gen. All others buy a new style Viper....
Looks and awsome power
The clutch is too unforgiving. Either you are on power or off. It kind of bangs back and forth, sounds like the universal joints are coming loose.
Owning this car is awesome if you want to have a real race car and get tons of attention. People of all ages love to see the car and do double takes and stare. How many Corvettes do you see daily and how many Vipers in a year? There simply is nothing that looks like a first generation Viper. Gas mileage is surprisingly good for a car with this much power, 22 hwy averaging 70 MPH. All the book values are way under priced as you will never see a Viper selling as low as they say, they are appreciating in value as the first generation becomes even rarer. Everyone asks: did you drive it last weekend, did you take it out from winter storage yet, hows the Viper?
Style style style! Power in every gear! Sound of exhaust and look of side pipes. Fun factor. Waves, stares, double takes, peace signs, thumbs up, smiles, crowds of people checking out the car. Driving curvy scenic roads.
Better solutions for the side window curtains and top, especially a solution that doesn't leak if caught in the rain.
