Front-drive sports car!
Vehicle
1992 Dodge Stealth 2 Dr ES Hatchback
Review
An enthusiast's machine for Dodge dollars. Great handling on tight mountain curves, even in snow (#1 ski car). I just wave politely @ Subarus and SUVs when I pass them to get first tracks. Classic exterior, nothing else like it. 210 horses before the K&N air filter and 3 in. exhaust. So fun it makes commuting a blast. The bad news: expensive maintenance/repair, especially parts (timing belt, water pump, throttle body...). Needs premium gas to reach its peak. Mine has 89K miles as of 1/06, has needed choke repair, T belt/water pump, dome light sensor switch on door, currently has small leak in clutch hydraulics. Not much considering the daily pleasure of cruising it around in all conditions.
Favorite Features
Performance, visual appeal, uniqueness, interior layout, handling. Sportiest front-drive I've found. Easy to oil change. Decent gas mileage, 29 @ 75 mph at Colorado elevations. Drive a nice one of these, you'll get the picture.
Suggested Improvements
Very expensive parts/service. Diamondstar quality is better than American, not on a par with Honda/Toyota. Stealthy, yes, but could they make it invisible to police?

Review
This is the best car I ever owned! It was low maintenance, had a beautiful design outside and very comfortable inside. If they still made them, I'd buy another one to replace this one.
Favorite Features
Acceleration, extensive leg room for driver and passenger. It is like a touring car instead of just a sports car.
Suggested Improvements
Improve back seat and trunk storage. It is so much fun to drive those are minor issues!

By far the best
Vehicle
1992 Dodge Stealth 2 Dr R/T Turbo 4WD Hatchback
Review
I bought my stealth new off the lot because all of the specs and reviews said it matched or outperformed cars double or triple the price. They were right! It's by far the most reliable car and maintenance free I've had too, although mainenance is expensive. Great in all weather including snow. After 12 years, I'm still getting 21 mpg city and over 27 mpg highway. Not bad for a twin turbo & the way I drive!
Favorite Features
Looks (looks great, but doesn't attract cops), smooth ride even into the hundreds, and its apparent stealthiness. I've been shot with radar by cops at over 100 and have yet to have one come after me.
Suggested Improvements
Better quality vinyl & interior trim.

Review
Most fun car I have ever had. Always get looks from young and old. Speed is exhilerating yet always seems safe. JUst as much fun as a Porsche or Corvette.
Favorite Features
It seems to handle better the faster you go. Always power left when you are on the expresssway.
Suggested Improvements
Start making the car again.

I have had my Stealth for 7 years and still love driving it every chance I can. The Stealth just looks great parked, let alone going down the highway. Upkeep can be pricey, but worth it. Car is unique whose style will look great for years to come.
Favorite Features
Great looking car that doesn't age. Cockpit makes you feel you are flying a jet.
Suggested Improvements
Leather seats wear a lot at door side. Sometimes have problem getting stick in Reverse.

A supercar for the price of a sedan

Review
This car doesn't age at all. Its design is not outdated after more than 10 years. The tires don't wear out, it doesnt use that much fuel for the power you get. It stick to the road under bad conditions, much better than any Porshe or BMW. Its only bad point is a overweight/brake disc size. Its price used is not even half of the true value of what you get.
Favorite Features
4 wheel drive, gear box, interior space and design.
Suggested Improvements
Disk brakes upgrade. They tend to bend under strong braking at high speed in curbs.

After driving a Stealth and seeing it for the first time I was in love. The speed is great, even though it is not a turbo. Heads turn as you go by. For a '92 it is in great condition and is mechanically sound. Pricing is not to bad for the amount of car you get. An all around good buy!
Favorite Features
Speed!!!! Seats are very comfortable. The looks are great.
Suggested Improvements
Dash vents on all early Stealth's are broken. The infamous valve ticking. There is no room in the back seat, there shouldnt even be one.
The Growl

Review
The Stealth is a blast to drive, starting from the moment you turn the key and hear the engine growl to life. After that, the responsive engine and steering, along with the short throw shifter and its head-turning good looks, energize the drive. Combine that with the wonderfully comfortable seats, the well laid-out controls, and its great reliability, and the car is a treat to own.
Favorite Features
Sitting behind the wheel, looking at the awesome cockpit and long, bulging hood, is great.
Suggested Improvements
A more detailed owner's manual could help with better understanding the workings of the car.

I have had my Stealth for over a year now and I still get a rush every time i get in it. It is big enough to hold football players like me (6'2'' 230) but still seem close and comfortable. They ARE expensive to own (especially when they break) but with a little TLC they dont act up to bad. My car has NEVER failed to start and my only problems have been a result of a tight suspension on not-so-great roads (potholes, etc.)
Favorite Features
Twin Turbo Engine, AWD, AWS, and its got the best looks in town. I get just as many looks from people that i would get in a ferrari or vette. People always stop to take a peek when they see it in a parking lot. For guys, girls love them. For girls, guys love them.
Suggested Improvements
If the car were 500 lbs lighter it would dominate everything on the road short of a GT2.
