Amazing!

2004 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 2dr Regular Cab ST Rwd LB (3.7L 6cyl 5M)
Review
I bought the 3.7L Dodge well over a year ago and I couldn't be happier with it. It has a lot of pep on stock motor. I added JBA headers, high flow cats, true dual flowmaster mufflers, K&N cold air intake, and a JET computer chip. The power, MPGs, and torque that it added was unreal! There is no way I will ever sell this truck. If you are looking at buying one, SERIOUSLY seriously consider buying this truck! You wont be disappointed, even with all stock parts, I promise.

Handling, looks, and comfort
Suggested Improvements
None, unless you want aftermarket parts for performance like I did. I'm considering buying a STS turbo for it, just to add even more serious power
All around fun

What awesome Hemi power. Blows away most other cars and trucks. Bought used at 5000 miles and added cruise and power locks. Just drove 3000 miles in rain, snow and sleet including mountain driving and freeways. Averaged 16.5 mpg at 75 to 80 mph and a big load in the bed. Love this truck! No repairs, only oil changes since purchase.

Sweet Truck
Vehicle
2004 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 4dr Quad Cab Laramie 4WD SB (4.7L 8cyl 5A)
Review
I bought this 04 Dodge Hemi in April of 2007. It's a sweet truck. It's got everything but a sunroof. This truck is very fun to drive except on really wet roads with some standing water. The 20" tires seem to hydroplane too much. (but yes I do love the way they look) On snowy roads they seem to do the same thing. I never felt like I had good traction in the winter. My 95 Dakota felt more stable. The gas mileage isn't very good around town 11/12.2 is the best I've seen. Freeway is OK but I never broke 16, until I got a K&N (just the pop in filter). The cold air intake is to loud. After I put the filter in,after about 300 miles I would get high 16s and 17s on trips if I drove around 75mph.
Favorite Features
Leather, sound system, looks, power, ( I would tow 6000 pounds on the freeway it did awesome) Fun to drive. The four doors but the need to be bigger. Kids can kick your seat. But over all an awesome truck! I've loved having one.
Suggested Improvements
Tires, you can find a good looking tire and not feel unstable in rain or snow. It also seemed on hot summer days the AC if it was run run high for a while it seemed to really effect the power. It always blowed cold though. I've really eenjoyed the truck overall. They look cool and fun to drive.

This old boy as 53,000 miles on it. This as been a great truck so far. Most of these miles have been highway, it's the family vacation truck. Wife doesn't know how to pack. I have no problems out of this truck. The gas cap went bad with 500 miles on it and the dearler replaced. At 30,000 miles did the service at a local shop not Dodge paid about 500 or so for it. When gas prices got high we used my wife's car for vacation this fellow only gets 15.5 miles per gallon on highway at 80 mph. People can't beleive it's an 04. It rides good and looks good with the 20 inch wheels. Had to replace the tire with 30,000 miles on them. There sometimes is a ticking sound from the engine put in Mobil 1 synthetic oil.
Favorite Features
Power, towing, and the look with 20 inch wheels. Plenty of room for a family of four. No mini van for us.
Suggested Improvements
Gas mileage stinks but must pay the price to be the boss. Better seats in back. Put an arm rest in the back with cup holder. Put 100,000 mile spark plugs in this fellow

No more Dodge, I bought the slt quad cab with the small v8 thinking the gas mileage might be better, mistake. I have a Ford ranger that gets better mileage and for the weight to power ratio way outperforms the slug that Dodge is, lately I have been having trouble with overheating and have replaced every bolt on part associated with the cooling system and still it runs hot, bad gas mileage, underpowered, overheats, Toyota next time

2004 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 4dr Quad Cab ST Rwd SB (3.7L 6cyl 5M)
Review
Hemi performance excellent, gas consumption not a concern at time of purchase. At $5 a gallon it is time to be frugal. At $8 use only for fun and necessity. If the eco wackos have tier way I still won't separate from this vehicle. I love to drive it. I feel comfortable, safe, and in charge. It handles as well as any car I have ever owned. I am satisfied and have a goal of at least 200,000 mi.
Favorite Features
hand holds, tilt steering, audio system, air. storage under rear seat, storage in door panels, split front seat.
Suggested Improvements
I should have purchased electric locks.
I do drive it daily, and LOVE IT

Review
I bought the SRT 10 to replace my other dodge 5.7 although I had it up to 425 hp. Gas E/mpg is about the same as the Hemi, plus in Chicago you need to be faster just to merge in traffic because no one will let you in but in the SRT they don't have a chance. Stock right now adding an HX40 turbo very soon. Plus nothing beats a Ram. Semper Fi.

6 gears of fun "more fun than a roller coaster!!!"

More HP= Better MPG unless you own stock in the oil companies

I love this truck, just bought it a month ago and have already put 5000 miles on it, it rides great other than the seats that have no lumbar support. It has a gas sipping v-6 which by no means is slow, in fact I have outrun a 5.3 liter Chevy with it... And no one believes me. Oh well! It made a two hour drive to Austin and from there a 12 hour drive to Nashville! Not a problem whatsoever! It has the best air conditioner of any vehicle I have ever owned let alone been inside and this is vehicle number 11 for me! I cant think of much more about this truck because its a base model and didn't come with much, the only problem is during extreme rain it leaks under the dash a bit but I have vinyl floors
Favorite Features
gas mileage i average 15-17 in the city and 19-21 on highway, sound system and most of all the vinyl floors because i had a friend recently who neglected to tell me he gets car sick..
Suggested Improvements
Give it more torque, it seems to have trouble with mountains... Make sure to fix the wiper crowl I'm sure people don't want their carpet ruined... Oh and give the base seats some lumbar support, I had to buy a seat cover with a pad on it and everyone said I was anti Dodge because it had a Ford logo on it
