If you're positive that all the lights are functioning properly when the turn signals or hazard lights are selected (be sure to check with and without the headlights on), then you may need to "reboot" your truck. Hi, Just trying to compare two pickups at the moment, but cannot find any info on the 4x4 in comparison to the 4x2 2002 model. We are in a dilema, do we really need a 4x4 will we use it or is the 4x2 good enough for the little off roading we will do? Kcram, Dusty or anyone else, I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Sport with the 5.9 ltr engine, auto tranny, 3.96 ltd slip differential. Bought it new to pull a 4600lb travel trailer. Actually, Class IV is specified as 5,000 to 10,000 lbs. This does not mean that it is actually rated for 10k lbs., just that it is somewhere between 5k and 10k. Also, a hitch can be classified as a Class IV and be capable of supporting 10k lbs, but it might require weight distribution to get to that load. I like the new Ram 1500 Quad Cab but I am concerned about safety. I am a police officer and have investigated numerous traffic accidents and safety is the most important thing I look at especially when you have children. I have seen too many kids get hurt in auto accidents.
