Chevy Duramax engines are great, but Dodge Cummins is American made if that has any influence over your decisions. Duramax are made by ISUZU in Japan by a GM/ ISUZU joint venture called DMAX limited. My friend has a Duramax in his 2006 Sierra 2500 HD. He likes it but he says he only gets 11 or 12 miles to a gallon. I guess Cummins won't get much better.

We have recently made a small buy of 2006 Chevy 1500 class PUs. Our previous F150s were very good, ... Read More
Hey, I am a new member who is looking for a little advice. I am getting ready to buy a new truck and would like to find out what everyone thinks is a better truck. I am looking at either a 2006 Chevy 2500 Duramax or a 06 Dodge Ram Cummins. I am personally a Chevy fan, but not opposed to Dodges. I just would like to find out what users ... Read More
