Bought the vehicle new with an "over-
build, under-use" mentality. I hauled
a cabover camper (1800 lbs) in the
back of the truck for approximately 3K
of the 58K miles I put on the truck.
Front brake caliper failure at ~45K
miles; serious damage to front rotor,
cost $1K to repair. Transmission
failure at 58K miles, cost $32K to
repair. The CTD is bullet-proof, no

matched to it are of poor quality and
reliability. Bad experience with
dealership repair center as well.

natural life . . .
Powerful Cummins Turbo-Diesel.
Dodge has a reliability problem with
this truck and I don't see how they
can deny it. They need to re-evaluate
their engineering staff and make
reliability top priority in their
