I OWN A HEMI QUAD. GREAT STRONG TRUCK
WITH POWER TO BURN. UNFORTUNATLEY THE
FUEL ECONOMY IS POOR. IF I WERE TO BUY
AGAIN, I WOULD CONSIDER THE DIESEL.
OWNERS BEWARE OF DRIVERS FRONT DOOR
MOLDING WHICH CHAFES AGAINST LOWER A-
PILLAR DOOR EDGE, CAUSING THE MOLDING
TO RIP AFTER 3 MONTHS. REAR DOORS OFFER
EXCELLENT ACCESS INTO CAB. 20 INCH
WHEELS ARE CLAD, PLASTIC BONDED TO
ALUMINUM. PRETTY CHEESY FOR A $30K PLUS
TRUCK! RADIO W/CD HAS FAIR SOUND
GREAT SOUNDING AND PERFORMING TRUCK.
EASILY TRANSPORTS 6 IN COMFORT FOR
HOURS. REAR STORAGE TRAYS UNDER REAR
SEATS ARE USEFUL. TOWS WITHOUT BREAKING
A SWEAT. PRICE WAS RIGHT TOO.
HAVE REAL CHROME WHEELS INSTEAD OF
CLAD. CD SOUND IS HORRIBLE. PLASTIC
AROUND STEREO LOOKS CHEAP.
When I first drove the 2004 Dodge SLT
w/ the 5.7 I was shocked by the ride &
power. My wifes loaded suv w/ the air
ride didn't ride this good. The power
is there if you need it. It has enough
room for a family. To exterior sold
me...the truck is just beautiful.
Interior great...can't complain. Not
the best on gas...but I would still buy
it even if regular was 2.50 a gallon....
The power & ride...I have never ridden
in a truck of this size and had such a
smooth ride. The power is there just
open'er up. You can pull
anything...well at least anything a
consumer like me will have.
Cold air intake and cat back exhaust.
Gives you better gas milage... REALLY
It has everything else I want.
Bought the Hemi Quad CAb 2wheel version
and it's the quitest, smoothest and
ergomomically friendly truck I have
ever had. Obviously the Hemi has great
pep and is fun to drive.
Major performance/efficiency mods are
easy to make to increase both
performance and gas milage.
Great job from Dodge...go figure?
Hemi varrrooom, leather interiors,
looks to kill.
Once in awhile quirky five speed
