This truck has about 119k miles on it and i hear this tapping sound and took it to pep Boys because i had problems with my brakes but the mechanic said the tapping noice is a transmission problem and that i need to have it looked at. I have never had problems with the transmission or the engine so i think 119k is good since i treat it like a 4x4 ... Read More

High Beams not working

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. The low beams work fine. The high beam work OK as long as I hold the lever on the dimmer switch close to the steering wheel. As soon as I let go of the lever the high beams go out. If I click the level again the low beams come back on. Do I need to replace the dimmer switch or is something ... Read More

How can I find out if my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup swiches power to the high beams from the positive side or the negative side?

I'm having the "No Bus" message show on my 1999 Dodge 1500 Ram pickup. it's a manual with a 318. This happens when I'm idling or on the road. It doesn't seem to matter if A/C is on or any other electrical device. It seems I just have to wait a period of time and it starts up again.
