What a great truck to drive! Power to
spare, comfortable, quiet, roomy, rides
like a luxury car, and the fit and
finish were superb. I had planned on
keeping that truck forever.(and I do
mean forever) BUT! At 75k the rear end
cashed it in and i never towed a thing.
(2500.00) At 98k the transmission
started slipping but I was nursing it
along thinking about getting rid of it
and at 100k miles on the nose bang! The
engine blew (4500.00). I put a new
engine in it and sold it a month later.
Theres just no excuse for this these
days. Just ask a Toyota truck owner.
By the way I changed the oil every 3k.
Interior and ride is among the best I
have ever owned.
Put a Toyota engine, transmission, and
rear end in it.
