2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl Turbo 5M)
Ive had this car for about a month now,
and absolutely love it. The sound and
feeling you get when the turbo spools
is great. Also there is nothing like
pulling up to a Mustang GT and pulling
a couple cars on him. Handling is
great, but the power can be
overwellming coming out of turns, but
thats a good complaint to have. Love
the looks everone gives me when they
think to themselves "did i just get
beat by a neon?"
Turbo, power, its fast, boost, stock
stero system was an unexpected surprise
(its very good), did i say boost?
Drop the rear end down some, it sticks
to high i nthe air. Rear wheel drive
would be nice, but its fine the way it
is. This car is great!!!! Love the
direction Dodge is going in!!
Great lil stylish car that just happens
to have a lil oomph. With the
overdrive you feel as though you should
be in a higher gear than what you
really need to be. But it's great once
you get use to it. But then again I
say that about all manual transmissions.
Great factory stereo. Lots of places
to put things.
Pockets behind the seats for maps and
such items. A larger glove box wouldn't
We have had the car 10 months. In the
last 2 months we have had the car back
to the dealer because of
airconditioning or transmission
problems. They are uncertain and have
had to bring in a chrysler specialist
to help find the problem. This is the
3rd trip back, total days w/o car
15days. When the airconditioner is on
the car seems to continuosley hesitate
and jerk as if the car is gonna die
out. We are afraid to drive anywhere
long distance. Cute car, fun to drive,
Stereo and speed
a little more room in the back seat,
and fix my problem please!
I thought the last car I would be seen
in is a Neon, but my opinion changed
after looking at a Stratus at a Dodge
dealer, deciding it was too much money
(at my yearly mileage, leasing is not a
good option) and test-driving a Neon
SXT. With a power sunroof, 15" alloy
wheels and an above average stereo, I
was impressed. Very little wind noise
with all the windows closed. Great
handling, decent pickup and turning on
the air conditioner didn't make the car
bog down. I was aware of the other cars
in my price range and was satisfied
that this was the car for me.
Sunroof, handles well in turns, and
great stereo. There is plenty of room
in front and for passengers in the back.
A fun car to drive.
Back windows are manual and there is no
key entry slot for passenger side.
Mileage could be a lot better; with
mixed highway and city driving, I'm
only getting about 28 mpg.
