The wheel bearing on the front passenger side of the car is ... Read More
For starters to all Magnum owners, I saw a very short interview of a Chrystler executive Winter of 2008 and this is what he said re status of Chrystler at that time: "we lose money every time we build a Dodge Magnum," I am not kidding. Wonder what that meant ? What did he mean ? (That statement sticks in my mind) Anyway here is my concern re my 2007 Magnum ... Read More

Towed into local garage...I just had to replace all of the pads & rotors on my 2007 Magnum RT AWD w/10K miles. The rotors were so rusted the pads were shot, had grooved the rotor so bad they couldn't be turned. The entire rotor assembly was rusted solid 1/16" all over, even ... Read More

Has anyone had parking brake problems?? I have had my front, and rear brakes replaced. My parking brake makes a metal to metal nosie when you are going 10 to 15 MPH. I have a Magnum RT 2007 with 14,000 miles. I have had my car in the shop 6 times for the brakes. Last time with the parking brake Dodge told the dealership to switched the brakes. The put the ... Cancellation On November 1, 2007, Chrysler announced that, as part of its restructuring plans, the Dodge Magnum would be one of four models discontinued after the 2008 model year. The production ended in late March, 2008. [4]
My 2005 Cool Vanilla Magnum RT AWD fully loaded is now 2 months new to me (33k). I wanted the SRT but needed AWD for Massachusetts winters on route 2.I am overall happy with purchase but there are some things I consider cons to the car. I am less than impressed with the mid range and the lack of upper range top end power. Yes the car does make it to ... Read More
My (N.O.S.) 2006 AWD hemi gets around 12 MPG around town (I drive very conservatively most of the time). When the service manager took the car for a few days to diagnose a problem, he told me that HE got around 12.5, and didn't seem to think that it was out of the ordinary. On limited hwy miles, I have gotten around 21-22 MPG at 65-70 MPH (so much for the ... Read More
Hey hezdope07. According to the latest information that I have seen, Chrysler Financial's buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Dodge Magnum SXT AWD with 12,000 miles per year are .00246 and 47%, respectively. When negotiating your lease on this vehicle, make sure to take advantage of the $1,500 lease cash that is currently available on it. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying ... Read More
Bought my black 2007 R/T last Friday and I love it. My friends and family love it too--from 7 years old to 79 years old. I find it amazing how the style of this car appeals to such a wide range of ages and sexes. I test drove over 20 cars before deciding on the Magnum and it was the easiest car buying decision I've ever made. No butterflies, no buyers ... Read More
I found that the residual for a 2007 Magnum RT RWD on a 36 month lease with 12,000 miles a year is 42%. The residual for a 24 month lease on a leftover 2006 is 36% for an essentially 3 year old car at lease end. So, with mine being 52% for a 15,000 mile/yr lease I should be able to get them down hopefully below 40%. If I can do ... Read More
I'll be in the market for a wagon type vehicle come the end of April 2007, and I'm currently considering a used Dodge Magnum to replace my leased 04 Honda Oddysey to haul the wife and kids around in. I'll be looking at around $14k at that time, so the AWD and RT models are out of the questions. I live in Wisconsin, so I'm concerned about how the RWD Magnum ... Read More
Hey everyone - I've been reading this post for a while now and am wondering whether a used 2005 Magnum is a good idea?! There is a credit union near me who has one for around $21,000 - RT/ sunroof, Boston Acoustic, no navigation - 20k miles on it. Any words of wisdom for you guys and gals? I would like to upgrade from my 1991 Acura Legend Coupe and not ... Read More
I have noticed a number of Dodge dealers still have NEW 2005 Dodge Magnum's left over even though the 2007 version will be coming out in a few months. Is anyone getting any great deals on these 2005's? I would expect with the 2005 version almost 2 years old, they should be selling for $7000 to $10,000 under MSRP. I have seen used 2005 Magnum R/T's for around $20,000, so I ... Read More
