Hello donnak1. I too own a Dodge Magnum, 2005, R/T hemi. I bought it used with 15,000 mile on it a little over a year ago. I like your modifications; 20" wheels, cold air intake and a set of flowmaster exhaust system. I went a little different; I kept the stock wheels, I like the smooth ride. Hi I own a 2005 Dodge 2.7 Magnum and I have been experiencing major brake squealing. I changed the brakes/Rotors $1000.00 plus in repair. I have even brought it back to the dealership and requested all new brakes again! I am still experiencing the same if not worst sounds...almost embarrassing to drive sounds when I go to stop!! my 2005 magnum has an issue when the car is at an idle the light are fine but when it hits 1000 to 1500 rpm it starts to flash and not only do the headlights flash but the dashlights and the emergency flash button flashes as well. no non lighting connceted items flash like the radio. Good morning Donnak1, wow, a teenage son that likes to do jack rabbit starts. Are you talking quick acceleration or are we talking tire smoking, wheel spinning take offs. I purchased a use Dodge Magnum R/T about one year ago today. It is a 2005 and yes with the Hemi. I average only 40 miles a day traveling combined highways and backroads to work and my average gas milage is 17 mpg. (occassionally, not a lot, I do put the pedal to the metal) so I could probably do a little better if my driving habits change. So far, the car has been very dependable. ... Read More...

On my wife's 2005 Magnum (first one on the Gulf Coast), after 2 years I ordered the new Disk, per owner's manual directions ($200), and it couldn't find the address either that the old disk couldn't find. Hey Jacklionel, I heard that the Hemi was on its way out, too, but for a different reason. I was told that it had to do with the Chrysler - Diamler break up. I was told that a lot of the features for the Hemi came from the Mercedes part of the Chrysler Diamler merger.
