2011 Dodge Journey Crew 4dr SUV AWD (3.6L 6cyl 6A)
Bought 2010 Dodge Journey 8 months ago.
In the last 3 months having problem with car, won't turn over.
Reacts like a dead battery but everything works, radio, door chimes, lights.
Neighbor tried to jumpstart but car still wouldn't start.
Car finally started.
Had WIN module replaced due to recall and thought that would fix the problem but 4 weeks later, car would not crank again. Took 30 minutes and over 5 tries then car finally turned over.
Batter tested ok.
Dealer say they can't find problem and don't think it is the starter.
This is my 5th and last Dodge.
I don't plan on buying another one.
Too many complaints.
Dont buy a Journey!
Scrap the entire line and start over.
Get rid of the weird keys.
We also have a 2010 journey sxt.
We've taken it to the local dealership 5 times for the so called "dead battery" syndrome.
They've replaced the ignition switch and key FOB.
It still continues to have this issue.
My wife called the manufacturer's # in the owners manual and they have opened up a "case".
Funny thing, is like u say - the dealership things we're cookoo for cocoa puffs.
It starts everytime for them.
We told them if this continues to happen, they can have them da#n thing back.
This car has issues, no one believes you and we're tired of dealing with it
Like you, we agree - don't buy this junk
