Haing driven my 2001 Intrepid
extensively now, I must say that is is
a car that I intend to keep for quite
some time. Maintenance & repairs were
a concern with the much maligned 2.7
and it's associated "troublesome"
transmission, but so far it seems to
be practically nonexistant for me. Big
car, plenty of room on the interior,
decent pickup with the kind of gas
mileage I get (mid 20's), I think I'll
keep it for awhile. :)
Interior is huge and so is the trunk.
Wind and road noise may be considered
a little intrusive though. I must say
that I seldom notice with my stereo
that I've installed though. Lots of
room for that.
Do something about the interior fabric
and dash amterials. Both are lint and
dust magnets. Expect to use an
adhesive type lint brush weekly if you
want the fabric to look good as well
as wiping down the non-fabric covered
panes. (IE: Dash, doors, etc.)
