hey every one tells me not to get an dodge intrepid cuz of engine failur and did mercedes ever buy out dodge intrepid? If you can find one that's been well-maintained and not too high-mileage, an Intrepid can be a good car. Personally, if I were searching one out, I'd try to find one with the 3.2 or 3.5, as they're better engines than the 2.7. More powerful, almost as economical, ... Read More

How does one replace the headlight bulbs in a 1994 Dodge Intrepid? I can't access the rear of the assembly.

Smithed... Our engine doesn't have timing chains but belts. If memory serves I had the belts changed somewhere in the 70K range--they ought to last until well in the 100K mark according to the service manager. Clearly I could have gone with the original belts but the damage done when they go is not desirable. Still would like to know if anyone has changed their struts and when! As to my ... Read More

I took the 2K rebate instead of the Chrysler finance deal since Chase gave me 6.89% for 60 months. I wish that the Dodge dealer was the my first stop. Car shopped for one full week.
