Dodge Grand Caravan Transmission Problem

  I too have a 2007 Dodge Caravan and having the same problem with "kicking" of the transmission on acceleration. I am willing to try changing the Torque Converter clutch cylanoid and crossing my fingers that I do not need a new transmission. Will keep you updated.

  We have a 2007 Dodge grand caravan. Sometimes the blower will not run when we turn on the heat/air. Sometimes hitting a bump in the road or slamming the hood will cause it to come on when it does this. Any ideas.

  Having same problem with my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan - shudder in the transmission. It happens about 1500 to 2000 RPM when in 4th gear, slow acceleration. Goes away with increasing gas and RPM... Told to put in additive called Shudder Guard

  Three repair shops including Dodge dealer where I bought my van told me I needed a transmission overhaul on my 2007 Grand Caravan with 52k miles. Cost $2500. Last resort paid off big.   Hi, I have a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan with a shudder in the transmission. The gas mileage has dropped down from 21 to 16 mpg.   I have the same problem with my 2007 Grand Caravan. Took it to dealer yesterday to have rear evaporator replaced and the dvd player checked. Since it's out of warranty, they charged me $85 to look at the dvd player and say they don't know what's wrong with it.   Thanks man, just turned over 6K and had my toe set for free as well as the drivers door adjusted. The touring package is definitely a firmer ride than the non touring.   The 2005 DC has definitely more noise at acceleration than the models before. Even though Chrysler claims that they are 16% quieter than the older models.
