2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport Fwd 4dr Minivan (3.3L 6cyl 4A)
Except for the chintzy middle-quad-seat cupholders, this is the most
solidly-built minivan I've ever driven. The Sport package w/rear discs and the
16-inch tires makes for great handling, and the ride is luxury-car all the way
to 85 MPH. Power liftgate comes in handy more often than I had thought it
would. Dynamite truck.
Power sliding door, liftgate. Split rear bench rolls out in ten seconds,
reinstalls in ten seconds. Middle quad bucket seats remove in five seconds,
reinstall in fifteen seconds. Powerful engine. Separate driver/passenger
New cup holder design. Beef up the thickness and quality of all components.
One broke the day I took it home; it was replaced under warranty, of course,
but if I had had to buy it, the cost was $150.00 for an entire wraparound
fascia assembly. BAD DESIGN THERE.
