Our local mechanic has a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport, AWD, with 96,000 miles on it. I'm wary about buying a Dodge with that many miles on it. Advice?
I have this similar problem with 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan 104,000 miles. It stalls when coming to a stop - most times in the spot but it occurs more frequently in colder weather. I've already had the mapping sensor replaced, spark plugs/wires, crank sensor, and a valve cleaned out. It never throws a code either...its in the shop again trying to figure it out.
I am having a similar issue, replaced the pump and filter and now the car doesn't want to go when you give it gas. Also, the idle is rough. Did you ever get this figured out?

More than likely, it is the bearings in your A/C compressor and it is just a matter of time before it seizes up and burns through your serpentine drive belt. It just happened on my 2000 T&C LXi. I just drove home a new 2008 Grand Caravan SXT purchased in Folsom, California (Folsom Lake Dodge).
