I saw an ad for this vehicle and i
couldn't refuse it. Irecieved 8500 in
rebates. I purchased a 35,000 car for
27,000. u can't beat that.

Best Features

Great turning radius, and the stereo produces great sound.

Worst Features

2004 Dodge Durango Limited 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

Review

This is the first Chrysler product
I've ever owned, thought long and hard
prior to purchasing and there just
isn't anything out there that comes
close to the Durango. I got the Hemi
and for this size of an SUV the
performance is amazing. I did
encounter the small problems that come
with a first year run vehicle but they
were easily rectified and I'm glad I
went with the Durango.

Best Features

HEMI! heated seats, sound system

Worst Features

opening window in hatch

2004 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

Review

I am writing this review after clocking
my first 1000 miles in my 2004 Durango.
This vehicle replaced my 2001 Durango.
What an improvement! The new body style
is more attractive and stylish. The fit
and finish of the exterior and interior
is great. The best improvements were in
the cabin of the vehicle. Better gauge
cluster, layout of dash, comfort of
seating, new steering wheel and even
the placement of the front and rear air
vents and dash-mounted defroster
registers. Thrid row seats are easier
to fold than older model thanks to pull
straps on the seat backs. Getting the
seat backs upright is easier too
because of this and no more having to
climb inside and lift up the bottom
cushion.

Best Features

SLT package -- Nice instrumentation panel. White gauges. Better dash illumination. Overhead console with compass and fuel calculator. Better seat levers in 2nd row to gain access to rear seat. Wider passenger doors. Exterior styling. Bigger side mirrors (6x9). Comfortable seats. Did I mention Hemi?

Worst Features

Power outlet(s) in 2nd row. Bigger rear cargo area storage bin. Better illuminated switches for driver door window, door and mirror controls. Leaps and bounds above the previous version. I would say gas mileage, but gave that up for the Hemi. Hemi is best for carrying a full load of people or towing

2004 Dodge Durango Limited 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

Review

After thorough research, I ended up
purchasing a fully loaded Durango 4X4
Limited listing at over $41,000 and
paying under $32,400 excluding taxes.
The vehicle looks great, rides better
than my Lexus car, accelerates well and
the 335 hp Hemi engine cannot be beat.
Interior styling and ride are better
than any GM vehicle today including the
Tahoe and Surburban. The Ford
Expedition is dated and too big. GMC's
Denali interior is cheap looking and
the Toyota 4Runner was an additional
$5,000 for only a 5 passenger vehicle.
Mercedes Benz has done wonders to the
ride comfort and quality of the Dodge
line of trucks. My hat is off to them,
a former Ford man from Dallas.....

Best Features

Great looks and styling, excellent ride, great price and yes, this Durango has a Hemi inside....

Worst Features

Lumbar back support needs to be lower in the seat
