2001 Dodge Durango Sport 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 4A)
We purchased the Durango because of its
size and 7 passenger seating.
We have the SLT AWD with 4.7.
over 60000 miles and the vehicle has
only been to the dealer for repair once
to replace the AC under warrenty. The
truck still looks new, the interior
held up great, and it still looks great
today. Power from the 4.7 was good and
the sound coming from the exhaust is
sweet. Are only complaints surround the
AC and Brakes. The AC does have trouble
cooling in really high temperatures and
the anti-lock brakes are not very
comforting when engaging, but upgrades
pads and rotors fixed some of the
For my wife, it had the perfect
combination of size and utility. She
wanted a SUV to transport 7 passengers
without the size, and we still needed
to pull the atv trailer.
