Hello everyone. I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota Regular Cab that I have some tranny issues with. Yesterday, the check engine light came on and I retrieved the transmission DTCs after scanning it. I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT and all of a sudden I noticed that neither the CD player nor the radio work. The screen will only show the time and says "pause." I am unable to eject or insert a CD. i have a 2000 dodge dakota 4.7L 4wd here is my problem -when shifting into drive there is a delay then hard shift, you can feel it shift -while driving when it goes to shift from 2nd to 3rd there is also a delay then hard shift -when going over 45 miles per hour there is a jumpy feeling like lightly taping on the breaks, almost like its jumping in and out of a shift. a coworker ... When the tank fills to the point where it kicks the pump out instead of stopping normally, that's usually a tank ventilation problem - in this case, the vent is continuing to release air and thus the tank doesn't think it's full.
