1997 Dodge Dakota SLT 2dr Extended Cab SB

Review

I've had this truck for four years and I have not had one major mechanical breakdown in all that time. I have the V6 w/ a 5-speed so it gets easily 24mpg on the hwy and 18 in town. It has enough power to tow my Harley and also enough payload to move heavy antique furniture on more that one occasion. It has a shell and a bed extender which make even better.

Favorite Features

Reliability, good looks, gas mileage, quiet, decent power to handle all the things that I do. The dog loves the carpeted bed.

Suggested Improvements

The 5-speed is very notchy when cold outside. More room in this version for passengers and possibly a third door for ease of loading. I don't want a quad cab because of the loss of bed space.
