well we purchased the dodge charger in inferno red. we got a 2008 model ( it was new 44 miles on it) it is the base model with plus package. Hey Larry! I am having the same problem with Waco Dodge. I got a new 2008 Avenger RT from them less than a month ago. There are some scratches on the car and on the steering column that was there when I bought it. I showed it to my salesperson when I bought the car. we have been dealing with internet sales we are supposed to meet with them this weekend they said they could get us the dodge charger sxt for around $18000 i think msrp is around $25000. we were previously offered $18064 for the base charger (but my husband wants the 3.5 engine) we also had a quote of $17,900 on a brand new 2008 model. not sure to buy now or wait and see ... I have a 2008 charger 3.5 with the same shutter problem in transmission between 1st & 2nd. Less than 400 miles on it. Returned the car to the dealership for repair. Was told the following day by service tech, this was a normal condition & i should drive the car more aggressive. They even put this on the service ticket. Hey Folks I've never owned a Dodge but I am thinking about a Charger SRT-8. How is the build quality? How about Dodge customer service? Also, a local dealer has a 2007 and a 2008 unsold on the lot (never titled). Is an unsold 2007 a red flag for something is wrong with it? Are you still having this problem? I love my Charger SE Plus, but I am hearing the same noises. I think this happens the worse when I am driving at constant speeds. I have to increase the speed of the vehicle in order for the noise to go away.
