    I have the exact same problem... drivers side slider is permanently locked, plus the passenger side lock only works manually. Both front doors and the rear door lock function normally. I tried to reset by removing the IOD fuse per a post on anther forum but it had no effect. gbritt did you get your's fixed? If so, please share what the solution was/is, thanks!

    Regular maintenance is important, especially the transmission fluid. Use only Mopar fluid recommended in the service manual. In fact, I would only get the transmission serviced at a Chrysler dealer. Good luck with your vehicle.

    Think of the cash allowance as a contribution to your down payment. Negotiate the price of the van first, and ignore any references to the allowance until you are done. The allowance comes from Chrysler not the dealer, and it shouldn't be considered part of the dealer's contribution to the negotiation.

    You should be able to do much much better than 29500 on a sticker of 30,910. You're basically inviting them to stick it to you. Research the prices paid and negotiate much harder than you are. You should be around 26,500 inc. the rebate.

    We purchased a base 2006 Dodge Caravan in Sept. 2006 with the 4 cylinder engine. With 29,000+ miles, no problems to report. Acceleration is leisurely at best. However, with the size of your family I suggest you look at a 2006 or 2007 Grand Caravan. There are lots around for under $15,000 or $16,000 with low mileage. All come with either a 3.3 or 3.8 V6.     You can still buy a plain Jane 2007 Dodge Caravan (SE model). Some may still be available on dealers' lots. 2007 is the last year for this model. I bought a 2006 model brand new last year. Roll up windows, no power door locks, and no other fancy electrical stuff that I would never use and typically breaks down in the vehicle's third or fourth year.

    I have a 2005 Dodge GC with a 3.8 and I get right around 16-17 city. I get around 22 highway. The best I got highway was 23.8 mpg. This van also uses 5W20 oil, which is suppose to get better mileage.

    Have you also considered the Kia Sedona? You get all of your safety gear (Side Curtain airbags, etc) in the base LX model, which is being heavily discounted, to the best of my knowledge. If you're willing to go the used route, getting a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with Stow N Go (and maybe 20K miles) will be an absolute bargain compared with getting a brand new Grand Caravan.

    I would definitely go for one with side airbags, if not side-curtain airbags. The Honda Odyssey, beginning with the 2002 model year, had standard side airbags but not the curtains.     The Madison Wisconsin Dodge dealer ALWAYS has an excellent inventory of Caravan and Grand Caravan and seems to make THE BEST deals of almost any dealer of any make. If I lived in Madison, I would have dumped my 2006 Sienna LE on a trade for a 2006 GC SXT.
