    Has there been any resolve to this. We also have a 2004 that is stalling when approaching a stop sign or light. This only happens every couple of weeks? Any direction would be appreciated.

    Our problem was clearing the Adaptive memory after replacing a major part . We did not know this ($1000.00 step). We replaced the Map, Cam, Crank sensors, one at a time with out clearing this memory so our problem was always there. All you can do is start here.     Agree with that Hans. The 2006 CR Buying Guide was very confusing in reguards to vehicles recommended and reliability. They seemed to contradict their findings throughout. The 2004 Honda Odyssey(pg 204) and the 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan V-6(pg200)have EXACTLY the same reliabilty scores in the 14 categories rated. Yet, the Ody gets a better than average reliability score and the DGC gets only an average overall reliability score.

    The reason the Dodge/Ford/GM minivans suffer market saturation isn't necessarily because of consumer popularity, but rental popularity. There are gobs and gobs of these available used within 1-2 years with 20k-30k miles on the clock for dirt cheap.     The 2004 Consumer Reports minivan comparison review had the Ody at 147 ft in braking distance from 60mph.This was behind the Mazda MPV-135, the Kia Sedona 143, the Dodge Grand Caravan 144 ft.     It is called year-end rebates/incentives to pad up the 2004 year sale numbers. That was when I noticed DGC at about $16K and T & C for under $20K.   Sienna and Ody do not wish to play that game to that extent because they know that they can command better prices for their superior products.
