Just a note to say THANK YOU! I have had this problem intermittently for months, with all the grief and expense that go along with it. I also read dozens of forum posts here and there without finding the pertinent details for my exact problem. All of that ended yesterday. Thank you so much for making the effort to share this information!!! Regards, Scott
I am looking for a used minivan as my 2000 Chrysler T&C has this annoying habit of dying at random times while I'm driving. Have spent way too much time and money trying to fix that problem and time to move on. I know my budget is under $15,000 and my biggest issues are space and safety. I have to be able to get inside to buckle three or four kids ... Read More
On the 11/07/11 i attended NAG (Nepean Auto Group) for an intermittent fault with my 1999 Chrysler Voyager’s warning lights and ignition system. The remedy that i had been using prior to taking to NAG was to disconnect the battery for 1+ hours and the ... Read More

I have a 2000 dodge caravan that makes a scraping noise while braking during gear change (drive and more noise in reverse) although during regular driving no noise is heard. The brakes are good also. The noise is ... Read More

I'm afraid you've got a number possible areas where the coolant can come from. I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan that is leaking coolant at an alarming rate. With the van off it drains the radiator fairly fast. 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan ES Hi, My Dodge Caravan ES driver side slider door won't open at all, it seems stuck in place. I have tried really hard to open it and need answers. Can you help me?
I have this similar problem with 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan 104,000 miles. It stalls when coming to a stop - most times in the spot but it occurs more frequently in colder weather. I've already had the mapping sensor replaced, spark plugs/wires, crank sensor, and a valve cleaned out. It never throws a code either...its in the shop again trying to figure it out.
Amen to that. We had our 1999 Voyager for about 3 years when it first started losing belts and it wasn't until I threatened to call the local TV station did the dealer offer to put the large washer (??) on the tensioner pulley which did the trick for me for quite a while. Agreed. Also, the 2000 van shares the same body style with the model years 1996 through 1999, so it is entirely reasonable that the doors are interchangeable.
Try an auto wreckers. The Caravan is a popular vehicle. You should be able to find a replacement door quite easily for your model and year. Good luck.
I have a DODGE CARAVAN 2000 BASE MODEL. The front passenger side and back slider doors have rusted and the mechanic says that it is cheaper to replace the doors than to do any body work on them. Okay, thanks. I am getting normal operation in the instrument cluster, plus no fuel, spark, or injector activity, so this is likely a differently caused situation. I do have the intermittent instrument cluster malfunction, though, so figured it may be worth a shot. I am very fed up and very disappointed with my van. I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later; after all, it is a Chrysler.
it would crank, run for just a bit and stop. Basically crank and sputter to a stop. NOT at all like the fuel was not there. I cannot remember if I checked for fuel at the rail. Just don't understand why Dodge woule pull the smaller wheelbase Caravan? In a super-sized world, that was an attractive feature. There was so much room for optimization in that one.
