That model year Dodge did stand behind what they were building in regard to the transmission. In 2009, Dodge provided lifetime warranty of the transmission to the first owner of the vehicle. So if the original owner had kept the vehicle and had the transmission fail at 52000 they would have covered it. They would cover it at 400,000 miles if the original owner still had it. Personally I would not buy a Dodge without an extended warranty though.Report it
