I got my 2008 Caliber in May, I love it! I was previously driving an '01 Ford Windstar very glad to get rid of that thing. This is my first Dodge vehicle, so far so good. Only one problem with wheel bearings not being greased at factory and they had to be replaced at 1500 miles. Dealership took care of everything and the car runs great. I purchase my caliber in march of this year. its 4cy 2.0L with auto trans. i have currently a little bit under 7000miles and i been expreince some jerking when i let off the gas pedal. the dealership where i live said that its suppose to do that because slows the car down when deacceration. Nikitalouise, Let me tell you that Dodge does not honor their Lemon Law. They have basically told me that i will have to go thru another channel in order to get reimbursed for my suffering and the money i'm out of because i had to trade my car in. I'm still going thru changes with them. I had to sell my 2007 Caliber for a 2008 Honda CRV. I am out of $8-9K. (see my last post). ... Read More...

:shades: I forgot: Remember when I said "I got all the options except...."? That DOES include the trailer-package [excludes hitch]. That extra-large oil-cooler is a MUST in Europe-- and I've absolutely NO intention of actually TOWING anything. The Engine heat guage rarely goes above 1/4-up. Well, mine is a 2008. Dodge got a lot of bad press: worst milage in its class; can't see out the back window; sluggish; cheap, dumb looking interior... mine's all leather without those gaudy colors. The MPG are GREATLY affected by what kind of gas I use. I get decreasing milage at lower-grades of gas. The best milage [I get] is between 55&75MPH. I didn't want to brag, ... Read More...

I had a Stone White 2008 Dodge Caliber R/T A-W-D made to order last year. It IS an AMERICAN model I bought through the Army/Airforce New Car Sales program. The speed governor kicks in around 130-- I guess.. the speedometer doesn't go THAT far. Took delivery Thanksgiving. I HAD a 2007 Dodge Caliber (10/31/2007 - 06/17/2008) I had so many issues from whistling, stalling, studdering, engine rattles, engine straining, ticking. I finally did get my SRT4 the lst day of March. The car is great, fun to drive, lots of power, great handling. The one thing this car needs is paddle shifters on the steering wheel. This car has so much torque steer you get pretty busy when going through the gears with the turbo kicked in and trying to steer with one hand. Other than that I love it. Read More...
