Edmunds.com True Market Value^® Deals of the Month

TMV^® Deals of the Month are some of the deals that Edmunds.com has determined currently offer significant savings to consumers for new cars, trucks and SUVs.

It can be difficult for consumers to find and compare deals, especially since prices and incentives change often. Edmunds.com is the only Web site that provides comprehensive information on the best deals currently available, whether consumers are looking to buy or lease.

TMV^® Deals of the Month constitute, for each of seven vehicle categories, the vehicles that currently are the "best deals," assuming:

• Finance: that the vehicle will be purchased taking advantage of special manufacturer loan programs;
• Lease: that the vehicle will be leased taking advantage of special manufacturer lease programs; or
• Cash: that the vehicle will be purchased for cash

In all cases, we calculate the savings by comparing the current TMV^® price of each vehicle (after giving effect to such programs, when applicable) to its current MSRP. When we evaluate "cash" deals, we also take into account the relative brand strengths of the vehicles in the category.

The TMV^® Deals of the Month are generally updated mid-month. We try and give the manufacturers time to roll out their new incentive plans so that we can base our determinations on the most up-to-date information.
