Unfortunately I trusted this dealership and found out very soon after my purchase that they employed some tactics that I don't condone: (1) I was told by the salesman that their "all season package" included splash guards and all weather floor mats; Feeling that I was receiving some value for this $495.00 charge, I let it go. I now know that the front splash guards and the floor mats came standard from Honda. The rear splash guards that the dealer had installed were priced at $115.00 online; not a lot of value for their $495.00 list price. This dealer had installed two other options. I never dreamed that the price added to the vehicle was anything other than normal retail. Their price on the window for the roof rack was $895.00 (and I found right after my purchase that they sell it (priced online) installed for $401.00. Their price listed on the vehicle for the tubular chrome running boards was $995.00 The price they were listing on line, installed, was $813.00. I don't know what I actually paid for these, but now realize that I didn't get as good a deal as it first appeared. Had I known there was over $1000.00 in "fluff" added to the list price of this vehicle, I would have either driven a harder bargain, or gone somewhere else. Probably the worst part of dealing with Tyrrell Doyle has been their refusal to discuss this. They asked in person, via e-mail, and via a conventional letter that I bring up any issues that would keep me from giving them the highest dealer survey rating, or prevent me from being able to recommend them to family or friends. I took this initiative by calling the general manager, but he never returned my call as promised, nor the next two calls I made asking him to contact me. The principal owner has also not responded to an e-mail sent to him through his contact info on the BBB site. This experience has been unpleasant and unacceptable. I regret that I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. They may not agree that their intentions are dishonorable or dishonest, but I see no other explanation for the tactics they employ. I just can't see, and certainly haven't felt, any honorable intent.
