Van Horn Hyundai
I drove to this dealership from Milwaukee and called in advance to confirm the car they had listed on Cars.com was still available at the price advertised. I was assured that it was. When I got to the dealership, I discovered that the price advertised on Cars.com was after a $2,500 trade in. Without a decent trade-in, the advertised internet price is $2,500 less than Van Horn's actual asking price. The ad makes no mention of this at all. I'm certain these tactics are borderline illegal.
After more than an hour of haggling, I got them to drop the price down to a competitive price. However, it was not a pleasant experience and I would have a tough time recommending Van Horn Sheboygan to anybody.
