First let me begin by saying I have TERRIBLE credit. After going through a messy divorce, losing my home, and being laid off for 6 months, I had to file a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. After my old lemon of a car died, I had no idea what I was going to do. I asked some members of my family to co-sign for a car loan, and they were unable to due to their own financial hardship. I am so glad I went to the Van Horn website. There is a link on the site for "newstartauto loans." I went to it, and filled out the application. Before I could even leave the site, my phone was ringing. It was someone named Elizabeth from the dealership. She went over my application with me, and set up a time for me to come in. I was a bit hesitant, because I had gotten turned down so many times before due to my bad credit, but I had no other options-I needed a car to get to work! I got there, and Elizabeth and Chris were so friendly. I never felt like I was being judged, and I ended up getting a loan for a car that I have been wanting for a while, but never thought I'd be able to get. I don't know what the other reviews are about, as I had an amazing experience. I never felt like I was being pushed to buy anything. But then again, I worked with Elizabeth and Chris instead of the normal "good credit" department. If you have had troubles in the past with dealerships, pushy salesmen, or your credit, I highly recommend going to Van Horn and working with them.
