I work through a company which offers the Automotive Advantage which allowed us to purchase a vehicle for manufacturer's invoice. We received quotes from 3 other Kia dealerships, all adding their special promotion incentives on top of the quote match. In the end, I decided to go with Ewald because of our salesman, Dave Lehman, was the most down to earth and laid back guy. He answered questions honestly, didn't pressure us at all, and knew the vehicle very well. He offered us a drink while we waited on the car getting prepped and the financial pieces to finish. The finance manager was a nice guy. He was straight forward in getting us the best rate and all the other options he's inclined to offer. When we politely declined, he didn't pressure us any further. My only problem with this process was the value of the trade in. The sales manager tried to lowball us. I had the vehicle appraised at another dealership, and I mentioned this during the negotiation process. Ewald's manager came back with a value less than 50% of what we were originally offered elsewhere. He tried to play it off saying the other dealership didn't know how to quote cars. I finally told them that if they wanted my business, they would need to come close to the original appraisal. They finally gave and and got within 15% of what I wanted.
