We had looked at a used mini van at a different dealership and were not happy at all. The other dealership barely allowed anything for our trade and didn't come down off of their asking price any at all. We would have only paid about $300 less than sticker after they took off for our trade and added on their fees, taxes, etc. A friend told us about Tom Logsdon at C & O Motors in St. Albans. My husband talked to Tom on the phone a couple of times and then we drove to C & O to see what they had. I really thought we were wasting our time and gas to drive from Huntington to St. Albans. We didn't even clean out our old van. Tom was very friendly and showed us a few different vans. We test drove 2 of the vans. We left that day in a new to us (used) van. We had debated about paying cash or financing through our credit union but decided to see what interest rate they could get us. They got us a cheaper rate than our credit union so we financed through them. We were very pleased with our experience. There were no high pressure sales tactics. We bought because we wanted to. We were so pleased that I told my parents about Tom and found them a barely used car at C & O. They just picked it up yesterday. While we sat at that other dealership I kept thinking that I hate buying a vehicle. Our experience at C & O was the complete opposite. I felt comfortable there and wouldn't mind doing it again.
