I visited Ravenna Volvo after visiting another Volvo dealership. I met with a salesperson, test drove the vehicle, and decided what I wanted. I didn't have a lot of time so I filled out my credit application and came back later. The car was ready, took me less than an hour to complete the paperwork. Wow! There wasn't any pressure to purchase anything additional. I was treated respectfully and professionally. I believe that there was a genuine desire to meet my needs and that the personnel valued my time. I had visited another dealership before coming to Ravenna. The salesperson at the other dealershp was very helpful but the ad details were not accurate and negotiations were going to be an uphill battle - When I left that dealership, the Sales Manager smiled and said "see you tomorrow" - I have very little personal time and no interest in protracted negotiations. The shame is that the salesperson couldn't have done a better job but her management cost her the sale. So when I walked into Ravenna, I wondered if my previous experience was going to be the standard Volvo experience - I'm happy to say, it wasn't! While the salesperson who assisted me was new to Ravenna, he couldn't have been more helpful or genuine. He didn't hesitate to engage another salesperson when he was uncertain. When I left, I felt that I'd not only purchased a quality product but that I'd also found a business that I'll be happy to return to again and again.
